Marc Wolf

Guitarist/Composer/Producer Marc Wolf completed BFA and MFA degrees in classical guitar at the Purchase College Conservatory under David Starobin, William Anderson and Frederick Hand.  Additional studies include Renaissance Lute with Patrick O’Brien, and guitar with Dennis Cinelli.  Mr. Wolf as performed in master classes given by Manuel Baruecco, Nicholas Goluses, Michael Lorimer, and others. He has performed in festivals, as a soloist, and in chamber and orchestral settings, as well as on live radio broadcasts in the U.S., Canada, Europe & Japan.  Recording/producing credits include releases on A&M Records, Ultimate Records (UK), Siltbreeze, Bubblecore, Fat Cat, Soundspells, Furious Artisans, Child of Microtones and others.

Chamber experience includes performances with Newband, Cygnus Ensemble, Wolf-Wetherill Duo (Flute/Gtr), Mice Parade, Composers Concordance, and others. In 2012 Wolf performed as a soloist with the Norwalk Symphony, and toured with the ensemble ‘Quibit’, premiering contemporary works with guitar by Jaime Oliver, Bryan Jacobs, Aaron Einbond, Alec Hall and Paul Clift. Mr. Wolf has premiered new works with guitar by composers such as Richard-Cameron Wolfe, Robert Martin, Mark Rimple, Robert Fruehwald, Gene Pritsker and Fernando Maglia. Wolf is also an original performing member of the pop group Mice Parade, with whom he has toured the US, Europe, Japan, Turkey, and Hawaii.
